HOW TO USE THE AIR WASHER MACHINE; THE ADVANCEMENT OF TECHNOLOGY IN OUR LAUNDRY SERVICES

Human has always looked for a way to get rid of dirt, sweat and unpleasant smells from clothes ever since they began to wear one.

The process of washing, rinsing, draining out water, and hanging in air/drying, ironing and packing is called laundry. We first went from beating clothes with stick when soaked in water to using detergents and hands then to washing machine.

Washing for the whole family was a very big stress, imagine coming back from work tired but still have to wash clothes, this brought dirtiness and unpleasant odors among people especially those that doesn’t have many clothes and they find it difficult to do the laundry when they come back from work or their daily duty.

Women will have to wash not only their clothes but that of their husbands and families which made work so tedious with other house chores. Washing of clothes require you to sit there and finish the job before proceeding to other works but thanks to technology that felt that house chores should be made easier and less stressful for humans, we can now work freely while the laundry is going on.

Washing machine has made laundry easier as all that is needed is sorting out clothes according to their colors or categories e.g Blacks together, whites separately, jeans together so we do not ruin other clothes. The use of detergents, machine washes, fabric softeners give the clothes a great outcome and also water for washing, setting the timer for washing and going on about our other house chores.

Washing machines have existed for sometimes now and nearly all households have this machine in their homes. 80% of humans now use the washing machine as it is easier and helps maintain clothes. It helps wash neatly fabrics bare hands would have difficulty washing especially jean materials and bedspreads and duvets. Hotels use the washing machine for their room cottons and spreads, imagine if washing machines didn’t exist, although it would still be done by hands but it wouldn’t be sparkling and stain free like now.

The technology of washing machine has even provided a stable career for people as we have now have laundry shops where one can take their clothes for personally washing it or paying for them to helped do it. Washing machines even have the ability to rinse and drain the water from clothes to the extent that only little sunlight or air is needed to make it dried without wrinkling clothes and giving troubles while ironing.

Technology has taken a leap to create another machine called the air washer. This air washer is built in form of wardrobe or fridge and its function is to wash and air dry clothes through hot blown air. It’s fascinating that this process doesn’t require detergents and water. It gets rid of sweat and unpleasant odors by blowing hot air through the clothes for a certain period of time between three minutes and nineteen minutes according to the buttons on the Samsung Air Washer Machine.

HOW TO USE THE AIR WASHER MACHINE;

Open the door of the air washer by pulling the handle
Place the laundry by hanging it on the hanger and give them space
Press the power button to put it on

Select air wash through the cycle selector, note that if there is water in tub, the air wash will not work, so drain if there is any
Close the door and press the start button, set the delay timer between 3:00 and 19:00
You can put in a little fragrance or dryer sheet (a sheet per item) to give your laundry an awesome smell
Press the pause button to open and remove the laundry
Power off the machine

NOTE: only clothes like woolen coats, sweaters, suits, pajamas and cotton fabrics can be air washed. Clothes trimmed with buttons, blankets filled with plastics in place of cottons, starched clothes can be damaged when air washed.

The air wash removes bacteria and allergens from clothes without the use of detergents and chemical washes. Although this process is not for stained clothes or heavily dirty clothes because it cannot remove the stains, it is for quickly washing clothes that were not worn for long period and one doesn’t wants to wash but wish to get rid of its smell and it lessens the way one sends clothes in for dry cleaning. This machine is still not widely known and used by people but it will soon get to be known in times to come. The brands producing these are Samsung and LG for now and they are both South Korean companies, this two companies have been striving to produce technical appliances that will help make life easier, let’s watch comfortably what they will release in the future.
